This is a selection of a variety of different styles of

Cahokia points made by Gary Merlie. Included in this

group are Triple-Notched, Multi-Notched, Triple-Notched
Serrated and Multi-Notched Serrated points. The

semi-translucent points are made of heat treated Kaolin

chert from southern Illinois. The rest are made of heat

treated Crescent from Missouri. Both of these cherts

were used by the people living on  the Cahokia Mounds

site in southern Illinois to make their arrow points.
