"THE ANDERSON YUMA"

   This Angostura point was found by Perry Anderson near the town of Yuma in Yuma County, Colorado. It has slight damage to one side of the base but has always been regarded as one of the best examples of an Angostura point ever found. Virgil Russell, the man who bought this point from Mr. Anderson, said "there have been more pictures taken and printed of this "Yuma" than any other "Yuma" or artifact in existence". A Scientific American magazine article printed several years ago said "it was one of the finest pieces of stone work ever found in North America".
