    These six Clovis points were found on the Drake

Clovis site located north of the South Platte River

in north central Colorado. All but one of them are

made of Alibates agate. The second Clovis point

from the right is made of Edwards Plateau chert.

They range in size from 3 1/2 inches (8.8 cm) to

6 17/16 inches (16.3 cm) long.
