CLOVIS POINT This end scraper was surface collected on the Bostrom Clovis site in St. Clair County in southern Illinois. It's a typical example. The large parallel sided flake removal scar across one side is good evidence that this end scraper may have been made from a blade that was produced from a prepared core. There is one sharp point on one end of the working edge that some people might identify as a spur. This scraper is made of white Burlington chert.
