   This stemmed point was made by a flint knapper

who goes by the name "Swoose." His signature

type point is illustrated here. He makes his twisted

points with the use of a "jig" devise that holds the

point while he parallel pressure flakes it into shape.
The point appears to be made of Burlington chert.

It measures 5 1/4 inches (13.3 cm) long and 1 inch

(2.5 cm) wide.
